Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin hinted the company will soon begin testing sharding, a new scaling solution that verifies transactions, The Next Web reports. Sharding may help Buterin obtain his goal of pushing Ethereum to scalability levels comparable to Visa, which can handle approximately 1,500 transactions per second compared to Ethereum’s 10 to 30, the report states.
