Bithumb founder and former CEO Daesik Kim is joining payment protocol and cryptocurrency project Bezant, reports Coinjournal. Kim will serve as Bezant’s chief cryptocurrency officer. The company says it aims to offer a fast, secure and reliable means of transacting payments for people in Southeast Asia who don’t have access to banks, according to Coinjournal. Kim said Southeast Asia has more potential for e-commerce than the U.S. or China over the next four years, the report notes. Read more here.
