Chinese telecommunications hardware giant Huawei has debuted a tool designed to test the performance of major blockchains, reports CoinDesk. Huawei calls the open-source technology Project Caliper and plans to submit it formally to the Linux Foundation-led Hyperledger consortium this year, the website says. Some of the performance areas it specifically tests include success rate, throughput (TPS), transaction confirmation latency and resource consumption such as CPU, memory and network, according to a post on GitHub.
