The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking to build a credit score platform that will use blockchain technology, according to a filing with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. The Canadian bank envisions having credit records recorded using blocks linked by identification data. These credit records will store historical information about borrowers and also contain predictive information that will be used to compute the credit ratings of the borrowers. Read more here.
