Smartphone maker Huawei is in talks with Sirin Labs to develop a smartphone capable of running blockchain-based apps, Bloomberg reports, citing anonymous sources familiar with the situation. The talks are focused on the licensing of Sirin Labs’ SIRIN OS operating system. The Chinese handset maker is interested in running blockchain-friendly apps next to Alphabet’s Android system.
