Russian state-owned bank Gazprombank plans to conduct pilot cryptocurrency transactions in Switzerland, according to a Vedomosti news report cited in Cointelegraph. The tests are aimed at seeing how the bank can organize cryptocurrency services after it received requests from large private clients for them, according to Aleksandr Sobol, the deputy chairman of the bank’s board. The bank has yet to decide whether it will offer the services to its own clients or conduct them for its own investments. Read more here.
