A Cornell University study found the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain network is more decentralized than bitcoin (BTC), CCN reports. Cornell professor, cryptocurrency expert and computer scientist Emin Gün Sirer said in an interview during the February Genesis London blockchain conference there has been false information circulating since Ethereum’s debut in 2015 that it is not as decentralized as other major blockchains. However, his study found that more nodes on the Ethereum network are operated by individuals than companies, thus making the network more decentralized. Read more here.
