Iran’s central bank has banned the country’s banks from dealing in cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), over money-laundering concerns, Reuters reports, citing Iran’s state news agency. Iran recently moved to unify its official and open market exchange rates and banned money changing outside of banks after its currency, the rial, plunged on concerns about a return of crippling sanctions, according to Reuters.
