Chinese state news outlet Voice of China accused cryptocurrency exchanges of defying the country’s ban on initial coin offerings, Bitcoin.com reports.

These companies set up overseas websites to keep operating and provide services to China customers, the report said.

The report criticizes one firm in particular: OKex. The Voice of China said it allegedly uses shell companies to hide its Chinese operations and offer unlicensed securities.
