An Ohio state senator has introduced a bill that would legally recognize blockchain records and smart contracts, Coindesk reported Tuesday. The legislation would amend Ohio’s Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and make smart contracts legally enforceable. If the bill is passed, Ohio will join Arizona in recognizing blockchain records and smart contracts. Other states are considering similar legislation. Read more here.
