When it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies, more women are saying “me, too.”

According to market research by the London Block Exchange, one in eight women, or about 13 percent of those surveyed, would consider investing in a cryptocurrency, compared to 6 percent at the end of last year.

CCN reported Tuesday the research found even more interested women if only millennials are considered. Among this tech-savvy generation, one in five is likely to invest in a digital currency.

“There’s still a common misconception that cryptocurrency is a game for men, but we’ve seen hundreds of women sign up for our exchange in the last few months and some of the most inspiring and knowledgeable investors leading the way in the industry are female,” said Agnes de Roeyer, senior business analyst at the London Block Exchange.
