IBM is going to an especially great length to create a more educated workforce comfortable with the technical requirements of cryptocurrencies and blockchain — in India.

IBM is offering a free, 12-week, online course starting in July, in collaboration with India’s National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning. NPTEL, an initiative of many of the nation’s engineering colleges, is funded by India’s education ministry.

The online course will cover the fundamentals of blockchain architecture, design and use cases, according to the Daily Hodl. However, while anyone can take the online course, there is a catch: According to NPTEL, you have to take the final exam for accreditation in person, in India.
