Internet security expert Lotem Finkelshtein, a threat intelligence analyst with Israeli cybersecurity company Check Point Software Technologies, said late last week that cryptocurrency-related crime will surpass all other kinds of cyberattacks in 2018, The Times of Israel reports.

He said that “not a day goes by without our hearing about a new ICO [initial coin offering] scam or mining attack.”

Finkelshtein was speaking at an event called “Blockchain, The New Digital Age” at Tel Aviv University’s annual Cyber Week cybersecurity conference. Read more here.
