New Zealand-based blockchain venture studio Centrality is expanding into Asia in a big way, according to two separate announcements.

During this week’s Japan Blockchain Conference, Centrality announced a partnership with Shanghai-based InfiniVision to create “blockchain solutions” for InfiniVision’s clients including McDonalds China, Chinese investment company CITIC and Chinese department store conglomerate BaiLian.

Separately, Centrality announced it is partnering with Tokyo internet of things platform company Jasmy. Under the agreement, Jasmy will build its IoT platform on top of Centrality’s blockchain platform and use its services, which include digital wallet CentraPay, digital identifier SingleSource and communications tool Sylo. Jasmy is headed by former Sony COO Kunitake Ando

Earlier this year, Centrality announced a separate partnership with Wanda Internet Technology Group, the technology arm of Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda, as part of its expansion into Asia.
