Blockchain isn’t known for being silly. But like those cat videos all over the internet, there are some silly things you can watch thanks to blockchain.

Like this Dutch sperm whale, for instance. Move over, CryptoKitties.

According to The Next Web, Roeland P. Lanparty, a blockchain developer, integrated steem (STEEM) cryptocurrency payments with an artificial whale fountain in the Netherlands. Users can go to steemwhale.io to make a small donation and watch the whale spray water live.

Users can pledge any amount between one and 100 steem to see the whale squirt. (One steem is valued at about $1.61 at present.) But set your alarm: You can only make payments and see the whale fountain operate between 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Central European Time. Read more here.
