Internet-of-things security firm Verimatrix has come up with a distributed ledger technology product to help companies block security gaps.

The company calls its Veriteem an “open read, controlled write” for enterprise applications. The open-source technology is designed for IoT applications requiring a dedicated blockchain that “allows public access to data, yet securely manages contributions in order to prevent malicious behavior,” according to the company’s press release.
