Facebook, which reversed its January ban on cryptocurrency advertising last month, has given Coinbase the green light to bring its ads back to the social media site.
The crypto exchange’s CEO, Brian Armstrong, tweeted, “Facebook banned ads for crypto earlier this year. Proud to say we’ve now been whitelisted and are back introducing more people to an open financial system.”
Advertisers that make it through Facebook’s new application process can promote cryptocurrency products, but not binary options and ICOs. These are still banned. Read more here.
