Opera, seeing big opportunity in the growth of cryptocurrency trading, is planning a digital wallet for its desktop browser, which will eliminate the need for third-party extensions or applications.

The desktop wallet, which will support Ethereum, its tokens and collectibles, is designed to work with the cryptocurrency wallet Opera included in its Android phone browser since June, according to The Next Web.

“After making crypto payments smooth and easy on mobile, we wanted the find the perfect solution for PCs,” said Krystian Kolondra, Opera’s executive vice president, in a statement.

Opera gave no timetable for the release of the desktop wallet, except to say it will be “soon.” Read more here.
