Kraken, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, denied rumors it axed staff and closed the doors of its Halifax, Nova Scotia, support office because of a security breach, according to a report in Finance Magnates.
The publication quoted a number of tweets claiming the San Francisco-based Kraken put hundreds of people out of work when it closed that office.

Kraken put up its own tweet denying the “rumor.”
