The British Masters golf competition has been around since 1972 and has a plethora of partners” starting with title sponsor Sky Sports.

Now you can add LIFElabs, a philanthropy-focused cryptocurrency startup, to the list. The golf tournament is scheduled for Oct. 11-14.

CoinDesk reported that as part of its sponsorship, LIFElabs will hold a contest on the ninth hole for participants. The first player to hit a hole in one will win 10,000 pounds, with a further 10,000 pounds being split between Cancer Research UK, a research and awareness charity, and the European Tour Foundation, the official charity of the British Masters.

LIFElabs CEO Luke Chittock said in a statement the startup is looking to “invest in the future of humanity” and that “sport brings people together in a completely unparalleled way.” Read more here.
