David Swensen has reportedly decided to invest some of Yale University’s $29.4 billion endowment into two venture funds dedicated to cryptocurrency, people familiar with the matter told CNBC.

The chief investment officer’s team reportedly put some Boola moolah into Andreessen Horowitz’ inaugural $300 million crypto fund, which closed in June, said the sources. Swenson also put money into Paradigm, a blockchain- and cryptocurrency-focused fund started by Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam and former Sequoia Capital partner Matt Huang, the sources said.

No one from Andreessen Horowitz, Paradigm and the Yale Investment Office would give CNBC an official comment. Read more here.
