Blockchain technology is once again taking a leading role in the City of Angels this week.
The Crypto Invest Summit, the second to hit Los Angeles this year (the first was in May), runs Monday through Wednesday at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Crypto investors, blockchain developers and entrepreneurs will discuss such topics as how to use blockchain for the social good and the technology’s applications in health care and gaming.
The ever-busy Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is scheduled to speak Monday. Earlier this month he announced the co-founding of EQUI Global, a blockchain-backed venture capital fund. On Wednesday speakers will include investors Tim Draper and Dan Morehead, Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger and commentator Ran Neu-Ner.
The Crypto Invest Summit is part of Los Angeles Blockchain Week, which kicked off Oct. 19 with the Startengine Summit and concludes Friday with the Genesis Blockchain Summit at UCLA.
