HUTN, which provides digital finance and investment services through its subsidiaries, has unveiled a cryptocurrency it will be paying to its shareholders later this month.
Favor (FAVR) is the “ultimate peer-to-peer digital instrument,” the company said in a press release. “Unlike other coins, like bitcoin (BTC), its primary purpose is not to replace existing fiat currencies.” Of course, there is also a white paper for more information.
Since the philosophy behind the coin is “you get a favor, you give a favor,” it’s appropriate that the company, which trades on the over-the-counter market, is giving away FAVRs to its shareholders as a special dividend. HUTN said it will distribute FAVRs on Dec. 12 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 22.
